Faculty/Staff Accomplishments

Thirty-nine Slippery Rock University education students, all members of the SRU chapter of the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association, participated in the association’s convention in Hershey. The teaching organization focuses on science and working with children in science related environments. Participating and presenting at the conference were: Jennifer Milne, Nicole Lundy, Maria Pezzuti, Austin Hawk, Kristen Doeberiener, Marissa Boyer, Samantha Pykus, Kassandra Shires, Julie Burns, Lauren Morrison, Kierston Helch, Megan Binger, Megan Peterson, Molly Joyce, Rachel Frantz, Rachael Corfont, Lauren Kozel, Julie Cote, Darryl Ann Brocklesby, Brandy Mitchell, Rebecca Herron, Lauren Jarrett, Carly McCoy, Mara Yoder, Elyse Ponish, Tine Merriman, Kate Getz-Rengers, Megan Sokolowski, Kristina Gaudy, Courtney Ewing, Adrienne Grapes, Emily Bauer, Katelyn Marquis, Nathan Sendgikoski, Susan VanGavree, Hannah Brendel, Lauren Cook and Lawyer Johnson. Robert Snyder, associate professor of elementary education and early childhood, accompanied the students.
