John Hicks, assistant professor of secondary education/foundations of education, presented "Running the Bases: The Baseball Motif in Edward Abbey's 'The Fool's Progress" at the 35th annual Appalachian Studies Conference hosted at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Hicks and Mark Mraz, assistant professor of secondary education/foundations of education, also presented "Working Class Heroes in Literature and History" at the conference.
