Accomplishments

Michael Cleary, professor of public health and social work, has had his manuscript "Developments in Clinical Neuropsychology: Implications for School Psychological Services" accepted for publication by the Journal of School Health. It is scheduled to appear in the January 2011 issue.


The following faculty promotions were effective with the start of fall semester:

Promoted from associate professor to professor were: Patrick Burkhart, geography, geology and the environment; Jennifer Keller, dance; Jered Kolbert and Donald Stano, both counseling and development; and Donald Zapien, chemistry.

Promoted from assistant professor to associate professor were: Brett Barnett, communication; Ana Maria Caula and Thomas Daddesio, both modern languages and cultures; Xianfeng Chen and Jialing Wang, both geography, geology and the environment; Michelle McCollin, special education; Marybeth Miller, physical education; Laura Smiley, theatre; and Youngyol Yim Schanz, criminology, and criminal justice.

Promoted from instructor to assistant professor were: Warren Davidson, music, and Annette Salsovic, Academic Services.


The following faculty members were granted tenure effective with the start of fall semester:
