SRU Athletic Hall of Fame inducts six

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - The 27th class of inductees joined the Slippery Rock University Athletic Hall of Fame Sept. 18 as part of The Rock's home football game festivities in N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

SRU class of 2010 inductees were:

* Jack Fullen, a 1963 graduate and former men's basketball player;

* Mike Hambrick, a 1984 graduate and 1993 master's degree recipient, track and field All-America performer;

* Heather Kearney, a 1999 graduate and 2003 master's degree recipient, women's basketball all-time leading scorer and No. 2 all-time rebounder;

* Randy McKavish, a 2001 graduate and three-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division football "Offensive Player of the Year";

* Craig White, a 1996 graduate and baseball All-America shortstop; and

* John Zack, a 1978 graduate and four-time golf All-American.

Induction ceremonies were in the University Union with the inductees also honored during halftime of The Rock's football game against West Chester University.

The latest induction increased to 175 the number of former Rock student-athletes, coaches, administrators and boosters recognized.
