ON THEIR TOES: Nearly 50 high school students from across the commonwealth will conclude a two-week 2010 Summer Creative and Performing Arts Academy today with a final exhibit and performance program from 3 to 7 p.m. These students spent part of their academy working on dance routines. Others in the “Arts and Collaboration” program, directed by Joseph McCarren, associate professor of English, were involved in the visual arts, theatre, creative writing and music. The project is sponsored by Slippery Rock University, the Regional Summer Schools of Excellence and the Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV.
