BRACELETS FOR BEN: (From left) Amanda Ewing, a physical education major from Natrona Heights, slips a memorial bracelet for the late Ben Swantner, a Slippery Rock University student who died Oct. 16 from a suspected case of meningitis, onto the wrist of KaSara Bubanic, an elementary education major from Canton, Ohio. Both women knew Swantner and sold the bracelets Tuesday in Boozel Dining Hall to benefit the Swantner family. Gamma Sigma Sigma is sponsoring a memorial basketball tournament Dec. 5 at the Robert N. Aebersold Student Recreation Center to benefit the family. The cost is $20 peer team with at least one SRU student and $25 otherwise. The roster deadline is Nov. 23.
